Dave and his team manage all aspects of marketing and communication for Drake University, with primary emphasis on advancement and admission. He had previously been on the full-time faculty at Drake University and the University of Oregon. Before transitioning to higher education, Dave designed and directed enterprise-wide strategic communications programs for Bank of America, Principal Financial Group, and Wells Fargo & Company; he also has prior agency leadership experience. Dave earned his doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011. In 2015, Public Relations Society of America named him to its prestigious College of Fellows, honoring those who have made a significant impact on the PR profession over the span of several decades.

Ashley M. Dusenbury, APR is a public relations strategist with nearly 25 years of experience in television, advertising agency and non-profit environments. She has extensive experience in PR research, strategy, media relations, donor engagement and brand management. As assistant vice president of Public Relations at Prisma Health Midlands Foundation, Ashley directs strategic communications and digital presence of the Foundation and its signature fundraising events and initiatives benefiting Prisma Health—Midlands, the largest health care system in the Midlands of South Carolina and an affiliate of Prisma Health, the largest health care system in the state of South Carolina.
