Although blockchain and bitcoin have been around for nearly a decade, the media frenzy and public interest around blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies has exploded in the past year. In 2016, Katie was recognized by the New York Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-NY) as one of its 15 Under 35, an award highlighting the most promising young leaders working in communications in the New York metro area.
Alexander Laskin, Ph.D.

Alexander V. Laskin (Ph.D., University of Florida) is a professor of strategic communication at Quinnipiac University, USA. He is an author of over 50 publications, focused primarily on investor relations, international communications, emerging media technologies, and measurement and evaluation. His most recent book, Handbook of Financial Communication and Investor Relations, offers state-of-the-art thinking and practice in investor relations and financial communication. Laskin is a 2019 Chair of the Financial Communication section of the PRSA. He is also a Fulbright Specialist, Page Legacy Scholar, and Plank Fellow. In addition to teaching and research, Laskin offers consulting services in investor relations, research and evaluation, and international communications. Laskin previously worked in investor relations, international mergers and acquisitions, and marketing research.
